WELCOME TO OAKS CHILDREN'S CENTER!

HISTORY          

Oaks Children's Center was founded in 2005 as an outreach ministry of The Oaks Community Church. We desire to offer families with young children a Christian preschool with a high-quality educational program.   

Oaks Children's Center is a Bible-centered preschool with a strong emphasis on spiritually and academically preparing children for the first 6 years of their lives.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our Mission is to glorify God by sharing his love and grace through His Son Jesus Christ.  We fulfill this mission by the empowering of the Holy Spirit as we provide young children a high-quality education and early learning experience.

GOAL

Our main goal is to provide a safe, secure, and loving environment where each child is nurtured spiritually, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically. Each child's thoughts and feelings are highly valued and respected by our staff.

CURRICULUM

At the Oaks, the lessons delivered to the children comes from Experience Early Learning. Experience Toddler is for the 2  year old classroom and Experience Preschool is for the rest of the classrooms. This curriculum is designed to support your child in developing and growing their different developmental domains (such as physical, language and literacy, social-emotional, etc.) through different activities that 

will ultimately assist them in reaching their unique potential. 

We also believe that young children learn best by doing. Learning requires active experimentation and repetition to find out how things work. Therefore, we offer "Hands On" activities that allow the children to learn firsthand about our world.

Our learning environment is designed to empower each child to become confident, lifelong learners and to be secure, caring individuals. We encourage children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try their ideas and think independently and join in on group situations.

CHAPEL

Our weekly chapel service is designed for the preschool-aged child and consists of worship songs, puppet ministry, Bible skits, and Lil K video instruction. Parents are ALWAYS welcome to join us for chapel time!
