In 2002, The Oaks Community Church was blessed with its current property at 10200 Campus Park Drive. As the church continued to grow, leadership felt God’s calling to expand its ministry by serving young families in the community.

As a church, we are a home for the nations—welcoming people from all backgrounds and cultures. This heart extends into Oaks Children’s Center, where we serve as an international preschool, embracing and supporting families from across our diverse community.

With a vision to provide both spiritual care and practical support, Oaks Children’s Center was established to offer quality childcare and early education rooted in faith. After much prayer and preparation, OCC opened its doors to the Bakersfield community on June 27, 2005.

Since then, this ministry has been an extension of The Oaks Community Church’s mission—serving families, nurturing children, and sharing God’s love through education. Over the past 20 years, we have been blessed to support hundreds of families and impact thousands of children.
